Leslie Belcher & Shelley Harper, art glass jewelry designers and partners in accessoreez have been invited to participate in the Florida Craftsmen's "Neck-Lust and the Chocolatier, an Invitational of Extraordinary Neck Pieces". This event, representing the art of over 100 jewelry designers, will be on exhibit from March 7th - May 10th at the Florida Craftsmen gallery, 501 Central Avenue, St.Petersburg, FL.
"We anticipate the elegant, the traditional, the avant-garde, the jeweled, and bejeweled, all coming together in the most exciting display and sale of exquisite creativity and diversity", says Florida Craftsmen's Executive Director Maria Emilia.
Sisters Shelley & Leslie have collaborated on the design of a remarkable copper and glass presentation entitled "Chuquicamata". "It was our intention to push the design envelop on this piece", says Leslie. "We've been working with copper accent elements in our recent works, but we're very excited about where this particular design has taken us. We're hoping our clients will be pleasantly surprised", added Shelley.
As the sisters enter their sixth year of collaboration, their accessoreez jewelry designs have shown a consistent progression in content and concept. We are pleased to be included in this exceptional exhibition and extend an invitation to all to experience Florida Craftsmen's "Neck-Lust and the Chocolatier".
